Tuna Tour Coming to Westhampton Beach
Sushi by Boū will bring the National Tuna Tour to the Hamptons for the first time with a sold-out culinary showcase on Saturday, June 28, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Seven Beach Lane in Westhampton Beach.
Led by Chef David Bouhadana, the 13-stop tour highlights traditional Japanese whole tuna butchery, featuring a 200-pound Bluefin tuna broken down live. Bouhadana is the first non-Japanese chef to earn Japan’s Grade 1 Tuna Cutting Certification. The event includes passed nigiri, a sake toast, and edomae-style tastings.
Tickets are $125 for general admission. A $175 VIP option includes front-row seating, meet-and-greet with Bouhadana, and exclusive photo opportunities. Luxury group packages range from $1,500 to $1,800, with an additional Platinum Lux option offering omakase dinner and open bar for $500 per person.
The event is an added stop to the 2025 Tuna Tour, which launched June 7 at the Yes Chef Food Fest in Brooklyn. Tickets are available at SimpleTix.
Sushi by Boū recently opened a seasonal location inside Sydney’s “Taylor” Made Cuisine in Westhampton Beach, offering eight-seat omakase tastings in an intimate, beach-themed setting. Reservations are available at bit.ly/3GUyFxp.
