Une Nuit en Provence Avec Nick & Toni’s

Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton will host a special wine pairing dinner on Thursday, June 9, from 6 to 9 p.m. “Une Nuit en Provence (A Night in Provence)” will feature traditional and regional French cuisine paired with wines from Provence.

The five course dinner starts with hors d’oeuvres including foie gras torchon, panisse, jambon rouleaux de chevre and huîtres aux naturel paired with a rosé from Cotes de Provence. First course is a clafoutis served with a white wine from Cassis; second course is duck breast paired with a red from Les Baux ; third course is milk fed pork served with ratatouille and olive tapenade paired with a Mourvèdre; and the meal ends with a cheese plate and petit four served with a 2019 Muscat.

The cost is $150 per person, plus tax and gratuity, for the five-course dinner. Wines from the menu will be available with special event pricing preorder directly through Jacques Franey of Domaine Franey on the night of the event.

Cowfish Restaurant Is 10

Cowfish in Hampton Bays is turning 10 and on Sunday, June 12, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., will celebrate with live music, Cowfish cuisine, an open bar and more. The cocktail party is in honor of all the loyal guests, vendors and partnerships that Cowfish has made in the community over the years.

In addition to music and dancing, there will be a painting exhibition by Hampton Bays resident and Cornell Cooperative Extension marine educator Carolyn Munaco. Cowfish staff will be serving all-you-can-eat fan favorites from the last 10 years including a prime rib carving station, sushi bar, oyster shucking, shrimp cocktail station and more. There will be a live set of party favorites from the Quogue Jazz Trio and Rudolf Blasits will be roaming around performing street magic for guests. Montauk Brewery, Macari Vineyards, and Palmer vineyards will be joining in by offering special tastings that will complement the open bar, both inside and outside.

A portion of the proceeds from the evening will benefit the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County’s Marine Program, which helps protect waters, providing a clean environment for fish, fowl and plants.

Tickets for the event are $110 ($25 for ages 15 and under) and available at cowfishrestaurant.com. This event will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Cowfish is at 258 East Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays.
