Get Rowdy for Oktoberfest

 

Rowdy Hall will celebrate Oktoberfest beginning Saturday, September 21, with a special German two-course prix fixe for $38 through October 6. Weekly Oktoberfest specials are as follows:

September 21 to September 26 – Entrée: Wienerschnitzel, braised red cabbage, Halsey Farm apples; Dessert: Apple pecan strudel, rum raisin sauce.

September 27 to October 1 – Entrée: Schweinebraten, herbed späetzle; Dessert: Black Forest cheesecake, cherry compote, shaved chocolate, whipped cream.

October 2 to October 6 – Entrée: Knockwurst, bratwurst and bockwurst with German potato salad, spicy beer mustard; Dessert: Apple almond Bavarian torte, vanilla anglaise.

Of course, it wouldn’t be Oktoberfest without German beer. Rowdy Hall will offer a Bavarian tasting flight for $16 that includes three 10 oz. pours of: Radeberger Pilsner, Hofbräu München Oktoberfestbier and Von Trapp Dunkel. In addition, $8 pints of the Oktoberfest beers will also be available.
