Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 8. Treat Mom right by giving her a well-deserved day off and take her out for lunch, brunch or dinner.

East Quogue

New Moon Cafe (newmooncafeeq.com, 524 Montauk Hwy., East Quogue, 631-653-4042) is accepting reservations for Mother’s Day and will be serving both lunch and dinner specials.

Hampton Bays

Canal Cafe (thecanalcafe.com, 44 Newtown Rd., Hampton Bays, 631-723-2155) will be offering one free bloody Mary or a mimosa to all moms on Mother’s Day.

Southampton

Shippy’s Pumpernickels East (shippyspumpernickels.com, 36 Windmill Lane, Southampton, 631-283-0007) will serve a number of weekend specials for Mother’s Day, including lobster and prime rib.

Claude’s Restaurant At The Southampton Inn (southamptoninn.com 91 Hill Street, Southampton, 631-283-6500 ext. 538) celebrates Mother’s Day with a Brunch Buffet from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Adults are $40 each and children under 12 are $25 each. Dine indoors or outdoors, weather permitting, on the newly refurbished courtyard. Reservations are suggested.

Coast Grill & Bar (coastgrillandbar.com, 1109 Noyac Road, North Sea, 631-377-3282) will be serving a special Mother’s Day Menu or Mom can choose from The Coast’s Sunday Menu. Reservations are suggested.

Plaza Cafe (plazacafesouthampton.com, 61 Hill Street, Southampton, 631-283-9323) will offer a special Mother’s Day Brunch beginning at 11:30 a.m. or an early supper, which will be served until 7 p.m. Call for details and for reservations.

Paul’s Italian Restaurant (paulsitalianrestaurant.com, 21 Hill Street, Southampton, 631-283-1861) will be open on Mother’s day with many specials, including a complimentary glass of wine with dinner. Free family style dessert for the kids included.

Southampton Publick House (publick.com, 62 Jobs Lane, Southampton, 631-283-2800) will serve brunch, lunch and dinner on Mother’s Day. The restaurant opens at 11:30 a.m. and serves brunch until 3 p.m. and lunch until 4 p.m. A $39.95 price fixe dinner is served from 4:30 to 9 p.m.

Bridgehampton

Bridgehampton Inn Restaurant (loavesandfishes.us 2266 Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton, 631-527-3660) is offering Mother’s Day breakfast from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Dinner will be served starting at 5:30 p.m. Reserve ahead for a table on the patio or fireside with Mom. In addition, the adjacent Loaves and Fishes Cookshop is open daily for all the goodies on Mom’s wish list for summer entertaining.

Sagaponack

Loaves And Fishes Food Store (loavesandfishes.us, 50 Sagg Main Street, Sagaponack, 631-537-0555) is offering picnic boxes with a variety of brunch, lunch and dinner dishes such as rotisserie chicken, citrus salmon, filet of beef or lobster salad. The store is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Order at least one day in advance.

Old Stove Pub (oldstovepub.com, 3516 Montauk Highway, Sagaponack, 631-537-3300) will be open all day on Mother’s Day and serving a special menu, including new steakhouse menu items. Call for reservations. Takeout is available.

Sag Harbor

The Restaurant At Barons Cove (baronscove.com, 31 Water Street, Sag Harbor, 631-725-2100) is offering a special Mother’s Day menu created by executive chef Nicholas Vogel. In addition to the new spring menu, special brunch additions are available. For moms who prefer to dine later, Mother’s Day dinner specials include crab cakes, tempura spring misto, and a spice cake with lemon glaze and curd.

The Bell & Anchor (thebellandanchor.com, 3253 Noyac Road, Sag Harbor, 631-725-3400) will be serving a Mother’s Day brunch and dinner. Seatings are available from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The brunch menu includes appetizers such as tuna poke and burrata, and mains like eggs benedict or lobster benedict, duck hash, house-smoked salmon plate or French toast. Dinner entrees include pan-roasted Scottish salmon, bouillabaisse, lobster garganelli or roasted chicken breast. Reservations recommended.

Lulu Kitchen & Bar (lulusagharbor.com, 126 Main Street, Sag Harbor, 631-725-0900) is serving brunch and dinner on Mother’s Day and is offering a complimentary glass of sparkling wine to all moms.

North Fork

Claudio’s Restaurant (claudios.com, 111 Main Street, Greenport, 631-477-0627) is open for Mother's Day and will be serving lunch outdoors.

Windamere (windamerenofo.com, 2255 Wickham Avenue, Mattituck, 631-315-5252) will be offering a full brunch menu from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. plus special food and drink offerings. Live music by Jeff LeBlanc will be performed from noon to 3 p.m. Come celebrate Mom with brunch in Mattituck overlooking the water.

Shelter Island

Ram’s Head Inn (theramsheadinn.com, 108 South Ram Island Drive, Shelter Island Heights, 631 749-0811) is serving its annual Mother's Day brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring a bountiful array of cuisine favorites. Dinner will be offered as well from 5 to 9 p.m. Speak to the concierge in advance to elevate Mom’s day with a flower bouquet.

Ram’s Head is also offering wellness treatments, including 30-minute complimentary sound and movement classes at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and a “Cocktails & Crowns” workshop from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. where Mom can enjoy a cocktail while making a flower crown (reserve at littlespoonsouthfork@gmail.com).
