Mother’s Day is this Sunday, May 9. Treat Mom right by giving her a well-deserved day off and take her out for lunch, brunch or dinner.

East Quogue

New Moon Cafe (newmooncafeeq.com, 524 Montauk Hwy, East Quogue, 631-653-4042) is accepting reservations for Mother’s Day and will be serving both lunch and dinner specials.

Hampton Bays

Canal Cafe (thecanalcafe.com, 44 Newtown Rd, Hampton Bays, 631-723-2155) will be offering one free bloody Mary or a mimosa to all moms on Mother’s Day.

Southampton

Claude’s Restaurant at the Southampton Inn (southamptoninn.com, 91 Hill Street, Southampton, 631-283-6500 ext. 538) celebrates Mother’s Day with an ala carte brunch menu and special offerings from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dine indoors or outdoors, weather permitting, on the newly refurbished courtyard. Reservations are suggested.

Paul’s Italian Restaurant (paulsitalianrestaurant.com, 21 Hill Street, Southampton, 631-283-1861) from 2 p.m. on dine in only with many specials that will include a complimentary glass of wine for Mom and a free family Oreo hot fudge sundae.

The Plaza Café (plazacaferestaurant.com, 61 Hill Street, Southampton, 631-283-9323) will offer a special Mother’s Day brunch beginning at 11:30 a.m. or an early supper served until 7 p.m.

Shippy’s Pumpernickels East (shippyspumpernickels.com, 36 Windmill Lane, Southampton, 631-283-0007) will serve a number of weekend specials for Mother’s Day, including lobster and prime rib.

Water Mill

Bistro Ete (bistroete.com, 760 Montauk Highway, Water Mill, 631-500-9085) will serve special dishes for Mother’s Day including local asparagus on Chef Arie's toasted olive bread, soft shell crabs and a lobster salad sandwich. The restaurant will also be stocked with summer truffles from Burgundy, France.

Sag Harbor

The Restaurant at Barons Cove (caperesorts.com, 31 Water Street, Sag Harbor, 631-725-2100) is offering a special Mother's Day Brunch featuring the hotel’s classic brunch menu with additional specials like a seafood plateau with raw Long Island oysters and clams, shrimp cocktail and lobster Louie salad, broiled oysters with charred scallion butter and toasted fennel seed and herb breadcrumbs, and stuffed French toast with vanilla cream cheese, fresh strawberries, and warm Nutella sauce. Call for reservations.

Lulu Kitchen & Bar (lulusagharbor.com, 126 Main Street, Sag Harbor, 631-725-0900) is offering a complimentary glass of sparkling wine and food specials in honor of Mother’s Day. In addition to the regular menu, options include a 14-day, dry aged duck for two ($120) or a whole, deep fried jumbo black bass for two ($96). Lulu’s is open for lunch Wednesday to Saturday, noon to 3 p.m. and dinner Wednesday to Sunday 5:30 to 10 p.m. Brunch is available on Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Reservations recommended. Orders for “At Home Dinners” must be placed in 12 hours in advance.

East Hampton

Nick & Toni’s (nickandtonis.com, 136 North Main Street, East Hampton, 631-324-3550) offers a special brunch and dinner menu special in honor of Mother’s Day. The three-course brunch prix fixe is $75, while the 3-course dinner prix fixe is $95. Both menus include choice of appetizer, entrée and dessert. A kids menu prix fixe is also available for $24, along with a separate dessert menu. Brunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from 5 to 8 p.m.

Montauk

Navy Beach (navybeach.com, 16 Navy Road, Montauk, 631-668-6868) will celebrate Mother’s Day with a special three course prix fixe lunch menu on Sunday, May 9. Mothers will receive a complimentary bloody Mary or mimosa with their meal. The three-course lunch is $48 and will be served from noon to 4 p.m. The a la carte menu will also be available.
