Mother’s Day is on Sunday, May 11, this year. Here is a lineup of restaurants on the East End offering special menus to make it special.

Hampton Bays

The Hampton Maid (259 East Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, 631-728-4184, hamptonmaid.com) will offer Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 11, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Diners will enjoy a special prix fixe menu which includes coffee or tea, juice or fruit and an entrée. There will also be live music from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Cost is $50 per adult and $20 per child, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are recommended and can be made on the website. The Hampton Maid will also host a Mother’s Day “Flower Arranging Class” on Sunday, May 4, from 3 to 5 p.m. The cost is $100 and includes small bites and a glass of rosé. R.AIRE (259 East Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, 631-728-4184, hamptonmaid.com) will serve a special three-course Mother’s Day prix fixe dinner menu from 4 to 8 p.m. that includes a complimentary amuse bouche and glass of champagne. Live music will be performed from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $85 for adults, $35 for children.

1 North Steakhouse (322 West Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays, 631-594-3419, 1northsteakhouse.com) is accepting reservations for Mother’s Day and is open from 2 to 10 p.m.

Canal Cafe (44 Newtown Road, Hampton Bays, 631-723-2155, thecanalcafe.com) is open for Mother’s Day from noon to 8 p.m.

Southampton

Southampton Publick House (62 Jobs Lane, Southampton, 631-283-2800, publick.com) will serve brunch, lunch and dinner this Mother’s Day. The restaurant opens at 11:30 a.m. Brunch will be served until 3 p.m. and lunch will be served until 4 p.m. Dinner service will be from 4:30 to 9 p.m.

Claude’s Restaurant at the Southampton Inn (91 Hill Street, Southampton, southamptoninn.com) will serve an la carte Mother’s Day menu with brunch served from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations are recommended.

The Golden Pear (locations in Southampton, Bridgehampton and East Hampton, goldenpearcafe.com) is celebrating Mother’s Day with catering platters for a special brunch or dinner at home. Special handmade butter cookies are also available for $16 per pound, along with dark chocolate-dipped strawberries for $60 a dozen. Orders for the strawberries must be placed 48 hours in advance by calling 631-697-2149.

Sag Harbor

The American Hotel (49 Main Street, theamericanhotel.com, 631-725-3535) will be serving a four-course Mother’s Day lunch or dinner on Sunday, May 11, from noon to 8 pm. Selections include crab cake with arugula, smoked trout with horseradish and citrus dressing, roast leg of lamb and pan roasted halibut. The cost is $145 adults, $85 kids. Reservations recommended.

Water Mill

Calissa (1020 Montauk Highway, Water Mill) celebrates Mother’s Day with a selection of à la carte dishes, perfect for honoring the special women in your life. Brunch is served from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with dinner beginning at 5 p.m. To make a reservation visit opentable.com.

East Hampton

Fresno Restaurant (8 Fresno Place, East Hampton, 631-324-8700, fresnorestaurant.com) will host Mother’s Day Brunch for the first time ever on Sunday, May 11. The brunch menu will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the restaurant will reopen for dinner service at 5:30 p.m. Reservations are recommended.

Amagansett

Il Buco Al Mare (231 Main Street Amagansett, 631-557-3100, ilbuco.com) will offer Mother’s Day specials on Sunday, May 11, including tuna crudo, lacinato kale focaccia, broccoli rabe and halibut, along with the à la carte menu. The restaurant is open from noon to 8:45 p.m.

North Fork

A Lure Chowder House & Oysteria (62300 Main Road, Southold, 631 876-5300, alurenorthfork.com) is offering a 3-course prix fixe on Mother’s Day for $64.95. The restaurant is open from noon to 6 p.m.

A Mano (13550 Main Road, Mattittuck, 631 298-4800, amanorestaurant.net) is open from noon to 7 p.m. on Mother’s Day and will offer a three-course prix fixe for $59.95.

The Frisky Oyster (27 Front Street, Greenport, 631 477-4265, thefriskyoyster.com) is celebrating moms with a fun night out. Enjoy sophisticated dining, frisky cocktails and a cozy vibe beginning at 5 p.m. Reservations are recommended.

Little Fish (50 North Sea Drive, Southold, 631 765-8756, littlefishnofo.com) is offering a Mother’s Day brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. All moms receive a complimentary glass of Bedell Sparkling Rosé. Regular dinner service will also be available from 5 to 9 p.m. Reservations are strongly recommended. Indoor and outdoor dining available.

Claudio’s Waterfront (111 Main Street, Greenport, 631-477-0627, claudios.com) celebrates Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 11, with lunch by the waterfront. Kids can arrange a complimentary bouquet for their mom. Reservations encouraged.

Riverhead

Tweeds Restaurant (17 East Main Street, Riverhead, 631 208-3151, tweedsrestaurantriverhead.com) is open on Mother’s Day from 11:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and will feature food specials, live piano music and an award-winning wine list. Call for reservations.
