Many East End restaurants and caterers are offering brunch specials, dinner specials—or both—on Sunday, May 13, to treat moms for Mother’s Day.
Some will take walk-ins, but many restaurants require or strongly suggest reservations to enjoy a prix fixe deal, an a la carte meal or a buffet. Don’t wait! The window to lock down reservations at an ideal time is closing.
The Preston House in Riverhead (theprestonhouseandhotel.com, 631-775-1550) will feature its new late spring a la carte menu for both brunch and dinner on Mother’s Day. Choose from Chef Matthew Boudreau’s main menus and specials. Brunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner will be served from 4 to 9:30 pm. Reservations are recommended. Buckley’s Inn Between in Hampton Bays (buckleysinnbetween.com, 631-728-7197) will serve brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. A prix fixe dinner will be served starting at 4 p.m. with the regular menu also available.
1 North Steakhouse in Hampton Bays (1northsteakhouse.com, 631-594-3419) will serve brunch beginning at 11 a.m. and dinner starting at 3 pm. Call for reservations.
Guava Tropical Restaurant & Bar in Hampton Bays (guavarestaurant.com, 631-594-3815) will serve brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys for moms. Dinner specials include bottomless sangria or wine with one dessert per table for moms. Call for reservations.

Tutto il Giorno in Southampton (tuttoilgiorno.com, 631-377-3611) will serve its regular a la carte menu and specials for Mother’s Day.
Union Cantina in Southampton (unioncantina.net, 631-377-3500) will serve brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a modern Mexican menu crafted by Executive Chef Scott Kampf. Offers include 2-for-1 brunch cocktails including Union Cantina’s Mother’s Day Blood Orange Mimosa.
Claude’s 18 at the Southampton Inn (southamptoninn.com, 631-283-6500) will serve breakfast from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the European style courtyard, on the pool patio and in the newly renovated restaurant. Mothers will receive a complimentary “Mom”osa.
Paul’s Italian Restaurant in Southampton (paulsitalianrestaurant.com, 631-283-1861) will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner on Mother’s Day. Choose from regular menu items or specials. Mothers will receive a complimentary glass of wine and kids will get a free dessert.
Plaza Cafe in Southampton ( plazacafe.us, 283-9323) will offer a special brunch beginning at 11:30 a.m. or an early supper, which will be served until 7 p.m. A small children’s menu will also be available. Call for details and reservations.

Seasons of Southampton (seasonsofsouthampton.com, 631- 283-3354) will serve a brunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Stations will include seafood, made-to-order omelets, kettle soups, pastries, Venetian desserts, antipasto, smoked fish and more. The cost is $44.95 for adults and $21.95 for children age 5 to 11, plus tax and 20 percent gratuity. Free for children 4 and younger.
Bistro Ete in Water Mill (bistroete.com, 631-500-9085) will serve dinner starting at 3 p.m. and is offering a complimentary glass of rosé for moms. Reservations are recommended.

Baron’s Cove in Sag Harbor (baronscove.com, 631-725-2101) will offer brunch with menu items that include grilled octopus, roasted leg of lamb, and herb oil poached cod. The Springs Tavern (thespringstavern.com, 631-527-7800) is hosting brunch with a menu by Executive Chef Sean Rafferty focusing on local and seasonal ingredients from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and all mothers will receive a complimentary mimosa.
Indian Wells Tavern in Amagansett (indianwellstavern.com, 631-267-0400) will be serving brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Navy Beach in Montauk (navybeach.com, 631-668-6868) will serve a special three-course prix fixe lunch menu. Mothers will receive a complimentary Bloody Mary or mimosa with their meal. The three-course lunch is $48 plus tax and gratuity, and will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The a la carte menu will also be available.
The Backyard Restaurant at Solé East Resort in Montauk (soleeast.com/restaurant, 631-668-2105) will have a brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The pool will be open and heated. The cost is $46, or $20 for children 12 and younger. It’s free for children 4 and younger. Adults will be offered either a complimentary mimosa or Bloody Mary.
