Olde Speonk Inn Building Poised To Open As A Restaurant Again

There’s just something about the Olde Speonk Inn.

The long shuttered Montauk Highway mainstay will have new life as a restaurant with the owners of Mary’s Pizza and Pasta taking the helm. The timeline for when the facility will be operational again is unclear, with owner Bill Chambers saying they are awaiting permits to start renovations to the restaurant. Last fall, the incoming owners gutted the space.

It has yet to be revealed whether the new restaurant will be the next addition to the Mary’s Pizza chain, which also has locations in Farmingdale, Islip Terrace and Wantagh, or if it will be a new eatery.
