Wine Dinners Slated

Two wine tastings at different restaurants sponsored by the Hamptons Wine Shoppe in Westhampton Beach are on the calendar for the week ahead.

On Friday, December 11, the Wine Shoppe will set up a tasting at Robert’s in Water Mill from 6 to 7 p.m., extending an invitation to participants to stay for a prix fixe dinner after the tasting.

On Wesnesday, December 16, the Wine Shoppe tasting will be on the North Fork at Love Lane Kitchen in Mattituck from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., with a similar invitation to stay for dinner afterward.

Slow Food Dinner

The next in a series of Slow Food Long Island dinners will be held at The American Hotel in Sag Harbor on Wednesday, December 16, starting at 6:30 p.m. The event will include a screening of the documentary, “Locavore,” to benefit EECO Farm in East Hampton.

Cost of the dinner is $70, or $60 for Slow Food members, gratuity included, with application and membership renewal forms available at the restaurant. The guest list is limited to 60 reservations; call 725-3535.

Also included in the evening’s festivities will be a “Special Grand Raffle” to benefit EECO Farm.
