Taste of Tuckahie will return this Friday, April 22 hosted by radio personality Walker Vreeland and Iron Chef America judge Karine Bakhoum from 7 to 10 p.m. at 230 Elm in Southampton. A VIP first taste and cocktail hour will begin at 6 p.m. Proceeds from the evening benefit the Tuckahoe School.
The eagerly anticipated annual event brings restaurants, bakeries, breweries, and wineries from the East End under one roof to highlight their culinary talents and signature drinks for the community to enjoy. The event includes both Chinese and Silent auctions, and music by DJ Chris Cenzoprano. Ticket are $35 in advance, and $40 at the door for general admission, $60 for VIP and can purchased at Southrifty Drug, or by visiting TasteofTuckahoe.com.
This year’s participants currently include 1 North, 230 Elm, Backbar Grille, Blue Duck Bakery Cafe, Edgewater Restaurant, The Golden Pear, Krieg’s Bakery, The Lobster Grille, Mercado, Old School Favorites, Palmer Vineyards, Saaz, Sabrosa Mexican Grill, South Fork Deli, Southampton Publick House, Southampton Social Club, Starbucks, Stone Creek Inn, Sunday’s on the Bay, Townline BBQ, Twin Fork Beer Co., Tully’s Seafood Market, Village Gourmet Cheese Shoppe and Vindagra.
