Artists, musicians, chefs and nearly 300 others came together at Estia's Little Kitchen in Sag Harbor on Sunday night to raise funds for the Sag Harbor Partnership and its plan to purchase and rebuild the Sag Harbor Cinema. The event, which was presented and hosted by Estia's Little Kitchen and The Sag Harbor Express, raised approximately $50,000 for the cinema project, according to Partnership President Nick Gazzolo, between ticket sales and an art auction organized by April Gornik, the group's vice president.
Chef Colin Ambrose was joined by Almond chefs Jason Weiner and Jeremy Blustein, among others, and prepared an authentic Argentinian Asado grill of meats and vegetables. Live music was performed by Peter Clarke, Inda Eaton, Gene Casey and the Spaghetti Westerners.
The evening was made possible by a host of sponsors including Almond and Corcoran Group Real Estate, Hamptons Gym Corp, Bridgehampton National Bank, Douglas Elliman Real Estate, The Law Office of John Leonard, Preston T. Phillips Architects, Okey Plumbing, the Hampton Jitney, Norsic & Sons, Palmer Vineyard, Macari Vineyards, Montauk Brewing, Bermuda Party Rentals, Schiavoni's Market, Cromer's Market, West Robins Oysters and the Sag Harbor American Music Festival. A long list of individual donations also made the evening possible, as did the nearly 300 guests in attendance.
