Lisa and Bill’s Farm Stand

Tucked on the corner of Main Street and Beech Lane in Wainscott, Lisa and Bill’s Farm Stand is in the middle of a great growing season. The fall squashes, like acorn and butternut, are just kicking off, while summer staples, like tomatoes and broccoli, are “still good now,” said farmer Bill Babinski, adding that they’ve got great pumpkins for carving available, so stop by and pick up a future Halloween Jack O’Lantern.

Customers can expect tasty sweet corn through Columbus Day. Zucchini and cucumbers are also at the end of their season, so scoop up this summer produce in the next few weeks.

The stand is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day.

Hank’s Pumpkintown

Located at 240 Montauk Highway, Hank’s Pumpkintown is in the midst of its annual fall-apallooza. Stop by for U-Pick apples, roasted corn and pumpkins straight from the patch. Quench your thirst with an apple cider slushie while exploring the maze or family activities.

Pumpkintown is open from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.

Open Minded Organics

From sweet to spicy, farmer Dave Falkowski says “it’s pepper season” at Open Minded Organics, the 720 Butter Lane stand in Bridgehampton. From heirloom Chocolate Habaneros to the regular bell variety, Farmer Dave has got you covered.

The family farm has branched into processing, so pick up some roasted sweet peppers or pickled shishitos. The farm’s also branched out into stocks, like a vegetable, mushroom and bone broth, that is “straight up medicine.”

From the fields, Open Minded Organics’ winter squash is coming in strong, while summer crops like melons and tomatoes are on their last legs.

However, cooler crops like broccoli, cabbage and Brussels sprouts are entering their heyday, so pick up these cruciferous veggies today.

The stand is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and until 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, through Thanksgiving.
