The 2022 Hampton Designer Showhouse benefiting Stony Brook Southampton Hospital kicks off this Saturday with its opening gala at the circa 1830s Ivy Lodge in Southampton.

The home and former hunting lodge sits on 2.7 acres that were originally part of the Mayo family farm. The 7,500-square-foot main house, provided by Victoria Meakin and David Feldman of New York City, has been completely transformed by a lineup of designers from the East End and across the country.

“The Hampton Designer Showhouse has become one of the top design events out east — and we couldn’t be more pleased to have it back in full swing this summer,” said HC&G editorial director Kendell Cronstrom. “This year’s property in Southampton is truly spectacular — with a stunning historic home situated in a serene setting. I can’t wait to see how the designers elevate each of the spaces throughout this stately home.”

Renowned designers Jamie Drake and Alexa Hampton serve as the honorary design chairs.

“We are very excited to work with Hampton Designer Showhouse Foundation, Inc. Once again on the annual Hampton Designer Showhouse,” said Robert Chaloner, the chief administrative officer of Stony Brook Southampton Hospital. “The funds that the Showhouse raises each year help support the robust network of services that Stony Brook Southampton provide to the community on the South Fork of Long Island.”

Twenty renowned designers from the East End and farther afield will transform the home. Designers include Amy Kummer Interiors, Baltimore Design Group, Barbara Ostrom Associates, Chad James Group, Collette Home, Courtney Sempliner Designs, Dee Ann Design, Donna Benedetto Designs, Elsa Soyars Interiors, Kim Tomasino Interiors, Laurie Duke Design, Leila Pinto Fine Art, The Lewis Design Group, LGC Interior Design, Mabley Handler Interior Design, Robert Brown Interior Design, Sea Green Designs, SilverLining, Inc., Sloane Luxury Interiors, and Tiffany Eastman Interiors.

The opening gala is Saturday, August 13, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $225. The showhouse, at 120 Edge of Woods Road, will then be open to the public for tours from Sunday, August 14, to Sunday, September 25, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Children 6 and under, infants, strollers and pets are not admitted in the showhouse. Admission is $40 and includes a copy of the showhouse journal.
