The Southampton Fresh Air Home’s Decorators-Designers-Dealers Sale and Auction Gala returns on Saturday, June 4, offering deals on designer home furnishings and rare antiques as well as live and silent auctions.

Each year from September to mid-May organizers accept donations of furniture, home decor and accessories, and auction items to support the Fresh Air Home, a summer camp for youth with disabilities and a provider of year-round educational and recreational programs. The deadline for new and gently used furniture donations is this Friday, May 20, though smaller decorative accessories will be accepted through the end of the following week.

Designers review the potential furniture donations and arrange pickup by SFAH staff or a moving company.

Besides furniture, the SFAH accepts donations of art, decorative items, dishes, glasses, china and housewares (properly packed in boxes only), lamps, lighting (working only), unique or unusual items and clean rugs up to 9 feet by 12 feet.

Items that won’t be accepted include electronics, home appliances, mattresses, sofa beds, bed linens, towels, toys (except antique, unique items), books, records, CDs, infants’ and children’s items including cribs, oversized armoires and dining tables, and composite furniture.

Doors will open at 4 p.m. for sponsors and benefactors and 6 p.m. for general admission, and the gala will run through 8 p.m.

Tickets start at $250 for 6 p.m. admission for one and $750 for 4 p.m. admission for two. Visit sfah.org/ddd for information on attending the gala or making a donation.
