Free Green Homes Programs

authorDawn Watson on Oct 2, 2011

Southampton Town will be sponsoring free information sessions on home energy programs every Friday in October. The first “Green Homes in Southampton” event will be held at the Southampton Town Hall, at the second floor Town Board meeting room, on Friday, October 7, at 7 p.m. Additional information sessions will be held on October 14, 21, and 28, at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.

The town’s home energy program allows for a free assessment of a home’s energy usage and loss and recommendations on areas for improvement and available rebates.

Those interested in attending should register at least a day before the desired session. Contact Liz Plouff, Southampton Energy Coordinator, at 702-1952 or by email at Lplouff@SouthamptonTownNY.gov. For additional information, visit SouthamptonTownNY.gov/sustainable.
