Martha Stewart led a discussion about the work of renowned architect Grosvenor Atterbury with New York Times architecture critic Paul Goldberger and architect Peter Pennoyer on Saturday, June 12, at the 14,000-square-foot Atterbury-designed estate at 199 Coopers Neck Lane in Southampton Village.

DUMBO developer David Walentas underwrote the event titled “Golden Age: The Genius of Architect Grosvenor Atterbury” and benefiting Amanda Foreman’s literary charity, House of SpeakEasy, which delivers books in its Bookmobile to underprivileged children in Harlem.

Ms. Walentas recently restored and improved the 3-acre estate, which was commissioned by Henry Graff Trevor in 1910 and completed in 1913, according to Brown Harris Stevens. The estate is listed with Chris Burnside of Brown Harris Stevens for $35 million.
