PSEG Long Island Offers Highly Discounted LEDs

authorStaff Writer on Oct 8, 2019

To encourage homeowners to switch from energy-hogging incandescent bulbs to energy-efficient and long-lasting LEDs, PSEG Long Island is offering LED 10-packs and 12-packs for just $10 each.

The 12-packs include a dozen standard-shaped 9-watt LEDs, which are the equivalent of typical 60-watt incandescent bulbs. The savings over retail prices is $26 per pack. The 10-packs contain “high hat”-style LEDs that are 10 watts each and replace 65-watt recessed lighting bulbs. The savings is $40 per pack.

“Small modifications like changing out lightbulbs to more energy-efficient LEDs can reduce electric bills, and every dollar adds up,” PSEG stated.

Both types of LED are available in both soft white and daylight color temperatures.

Residential PSEG customers can order up to two packs, and shipping is free. The promotion ends October 21 or when supplies run out. To order, visit psegli.techniart.com.
