Earlier this month, the Suffolk County Water Authority unveiled a new, primarily electronic-based version of its annual drinking water quality report. According to information provided by the SCWA, the technology switch will save tens of thousands of dollars per year, be more accessible than the previous paper report and be more environmentally-friendly.
The new electronic-based report, available online at scwa.com/dwqr, allows residents to go directly to the information they want with one click, as opposed to having to search through a lengthy paper report. Printed reports can still be mailed to customers upon request. For those interested in receiving a paper report, call 698-9500.
