Southampton Garden Club Annual Flower Show

“Inspirations for a Wedding” is the Southampton Garden Club’s theme for its annual flower show, planned for Thursday, July 8, from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Southampton Cultural Center.

In addition to the free judged flower show, and a boutique bazaar at the Cultural Center, there will be garden tour of four estate gardens in Southampton. Sag Harbor House Tour

Tickets are now available for the annual “Sag Harbor House Tour,” set for Friday, July 9, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and sponsored by the Friends of the John Jermain Library.

Tickets, which are $35 each in advance and benefit the library, will be sold at the library on the day of the tour for $40 each.

Six houses, three in Sag Harbor and three in North Haven, will be on view this year. For additional information or to purchase tickets, call the library at 725-0049.

East Hampton Antiques Show

The East Hampton Historical Society’s fourth annual “Antiques Show” will be held from Friday, July 9, through Sunday, July 11, at the historic Mulford Farm, a 3-acre property, which includes a 17th century house and several barns and outbuildings. Numerous vendor tents will be set up for the event.

An opening night “Preview Cocktail Party” will kick off the weekend with interior designer Jamie Drake serving as honorary chairman. A special feature of this year’s show includes participation by the Designers Committee, which consists of 25 noted interior designers working in the Hamptons. This year’s list includes Arthur Dunnam, Noel Jeffrey, Marshall Watson and Tom Scheerer, to name a few.

The “Preview Cocktail Party” will be held on Friday, July 9, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets for the benefit are $150 each. “Antiques Show” hours are Saturday, July 10, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with an early buying hour at 9 a.m. On Sunday, July 11, the show is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Early buying admission is $20 and general admission is $10.

Westhampton Garden Club’s “Art In Bloom”

The Westhampton Garden Club will host the “Art in Bloom” house and garden tour on Tuesday, July 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Five homes and gardens, located in Quogue and Westhampton Beach, will be included on the tour. Highlights include one of the oldest homes in Quogue, with gardens designed by Alice Ireys; the home of a prominent artist filled with trompe l’oeil; and several local artists painting en plein air during the tour.

Funds raised through the house and garden tour help the Westhampton Garden Club maintain the public gardens on the Village Greens in Westhampton Beach and Quogue, and the Old-Fashioned Garden, Herb Garden and Harry Potter Garden located on the grounds of the Quogue Library.

Westhampton Beach PAC House and Garden Tour

The seventh annual Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center’s “House and Garden Tour” will be held on Friday, July 16, starting at 11 a.m.

The event, hosted by the WHBPAC Advisory Council, will feature a variety of homes in Westhampton Beach, Quiogue, and Quogue. A luncheon will also be offered at the Westhampton Country Club from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day.

Advance ticket purchase is strongly advised as this event sells out every year. Admission is $75 for the tour only and $100 for the tour and luncheon.

Hampton Designer Showhouse

The annual “Hampton Designer Showhouse,” presented by Traditional Home to benefit Southampton Hospital, will be held from Sunday, July 25, through September 5, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

This year’s showhouse, built by Frank Bodenchak of Edge Real Estate, is located at 129 Stoney Hill Road in Sag Harbor.

Admission is $30 and includes a Showhouse journal. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at hamptondesignershowhouse.com.

East Quogue Garden Tour

The East Quogue Beautification Committee’s eighth annual “Garden Tour” will be held on Saturday, July 31, starting at 11 a.m. and will include five gardens, representing an eclectic mix of gardening styles.

Included on the tour is an old-world vegetable garden, a waterfront garden, an extensive shade garden, a village garden within walking distance of the hamlet and a native, natural wildlife garden.

St. Ann’s Episcopal Church House and Garden Tour

The 42nd annual “St. Ann’s Bridgehampton Community House and Garden Tour” will be held August 5.

The event will begin with a “Reflections in Hamptons Style” panel discussion, led by interior designer and Press News Group columnist Marshall Watson, at 11:30 a.m. on August 5, at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church in Bridgehampton. Mr. Watson will be joined by several East End architects and landscape designers. Seating for the panel is limited, so reservations are suggested.

The house tour will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. on August 5 and will include four homes and one garden.

Tickets for the “Reflections on Hamptons Style” panel are $30 each. House tour tickets are $50 in advance and $60 the day of the event. A discounted combined admission price for both events will also be offered for $70. Tickets will be available at St. Ann’s or through the mail at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church, P.O. Guild Hall’s Garden As Art: Designers Choice

The annual “Garden As Art: Designers Choice” will kick off with a cocktail reception at Guild Hall in East Hampton on August 27, at 6 p.m. and will include a breakfast, lectures, luncheon and garden tours on August 28, starting at 9:30 a.m.

The tour will feature gardens selected by East End garden designers, including: Appell Garden by Dianne Benson; Gillman Garden by Victoria Fensterer; McKeon Garden and Lynne Garden by Edmund Hollander; Caiola and McGill Garden by Craig Socia; and Rifkind Garden by Oehme Van Sweden.

Illustrated lectures on August 28 will include: “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” with Eric Groft from Oehme Van Sweden and “A Botanic Garden by Design” with Scott Medbury of Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

Tickets are $100 for the tour, lecture and breakfast, or $75 for Guild Hall members. Tickets start at $250 for the tour, lecture, breakfast, and cocktail party.
