Each summer, the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons hosts one of the most heartwarming nights on the East End: the Bow Wow Meow Ball.

On Saturday, August 16, guests will gather under the stars at the ARF campus in East Hampton for an evening that blends elegance with compassion — all in support of the cats and dogs that need it most.

The evening begins at 6:30 p.m., as guests sip cocktails and enjoy hors d’oeuvres beneath a tent set in the garden. From there, the celebration moves inside the beautifully renovated William P. Rayner Training Center, where dinner is served, a live auction stirs some friendly competition, and a festive dance floor invites all to let loose for a cause.

This year, ARF will honor longtime supporters Ellen and Chuck Scarborough with the Champion of Animals Award, recognizing their dedication to animal welfare and the organization’s mission.

Guests also will be treated to ARF’s signature Parade of Animals, a moving moment that brings the evening’s purpose to life — showcasing the very pets their support helps rescue, rehabilitate and rehome.

It’s a night filled with joy, generosity and the powerful reminder that every animal deserves love — and a place to call home.
