This summer, Levain Bakery is giving its iconic cookies a cool new companion in Wainscott — and it’s the pairing locals didn’t know they needed. Just in time for Memorial Day weekend, Levain launched “Levain à la mode,” a limited-time offering that brings artisanal ice cream and the bakery’s legendary 6-ounce cookies together in one unforgettable summer treat.

The South Fork location was the first in the country to debut this decadent duo Memorial Day weekend, kicking off a seasonal celebration that fuses nostalgia, indulgence and a hometown touch. Partnering with Montauk institution John’s Drive-In, Levain is serving up scoops of their beloved French Vanilla — a flavor made daily and known for its rich, creamy depth — to sit perfectly atop any of Levain’s warm, gooey cookies.

This local collaboration marks the first time in Levain’s 30-year history that the bakery is offering ice cream, and it’s no surprise they chose a community favorite to help make it happen. Whether you’re grabbing a bite post-beach or strolling through town, a cookie à la mode from Levain promises to be the ultimate Hamptons summer snack.

Cookies à la mode are available for $10.50, and for those who crave something a little more indulgent, the Rocky Road cookie — a fan favorite packed with dark chocolate, almonds and gooey marshmallows — returns to the menu starting June 23.
