Colombian-born guitarist Francisco Roldán returns to the Montauk Library (871 Montauk Highway) on Wednesday, June 26, for a 7 p.m. concert of classical masterworks composed for guitar. His vibrant concert will include challenging and evocative pieces composed between the 16th and the 20th centuries by composers from Spain (Navaez, Sanz, Tarrega, and Rodrigo), Italy (Giuliani), Germany (Bach), Puerto Rico (Cordero), and Paraguay (Barrios).

Mr. Roldán has performed on stages in Europe, Central America, South America and throughout the U.S. His recordings include “Almost All Bach,” “Latin Guitar,” “ZigZag,” “Interweaving” with soprano Gretchen Farrar, and “Instruments Of the People” with percussionist Danny Mallon.

Mr. Roldán is currently on the faculties of the City University of New York’s Lehman College and New Jersey City University. Admission to the concert is free. For information call 631-668-3377 or visit franciscoroldan.com.
