Frezzo And Daly Join Elliman

Real estate brokerage Douglas Elliman is welcoming back a familiar face and adding a new face.

Michael Daly has returned to Douglas Elliman, where he started his real estate career in 1998. The North Haven resident was most recently an associate broker at Sotheby’s International Realty and he will hold the same title at Douglas Elliman.

Mr. Daly is a member of the Peconic Land Trust Outreach Committee, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the South Fork Membership Committee and the North Haven Village Zoning Board of Appeals, as well as the co-chair of the Southampton Town Anti-Bias Task Force and the volunteer coordinator for the Sag Harbor American Music Festival.

He will work from Douglas Elliman’s Sag Harbor office.

Vincent Frezzo has joined the Bridgehampton Douglas Elliman office as a member of the Brendan Skislock Team.

Before transitioning to real estate, the Bridgehampton resident had a career in the sale and marketing of luxury consumer products. He has brand management experience on the advertising and client sides for AT&T, JPMorgan Chase, Colgate Palmolive, L’Oreal Paris, Bristol-Myers Squibb/Clairol, Coty Prestige and Interview magazine. His professional achievements include board membership on the Advertising Management, TV and Print committees of the Association of National Advertisers and membership in Forrester Research’s Interactive Marketing Council.

LeBella Joins Town & Country

Licensed associate real estate broker Nicole LeBella became a part of Town & Country Real Estate’s Southampton office early this year, after departing Corcoran Group Real Estate. The Long Island native has worked in real estate since 1982, and in the Hamptons market since 2000. She is a former elementary school teacher and managed a physical fitness training business.

Among her past real estate clients are Alistair Cooke of the BBC and Stuttering John of “The Howard Stern Show.”

New State Law Allows Development Rights To Move Inland From Flood-Prone Areas

To aid in the relocation of development from areas at high risk of flood to areas with lower risk, a new state law authorizes the owners of flood-prone properties to transfer their development rights inland. Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele Jr. of Sag Harbor was the prime sponsor of the legislation that Governor Andrew Cuomo signed into law last month. Under the law, land identified as at risk from sea-level rise, flooding and storm surge, and land on steep slopes, will be eligible to send development rights to land that is better suited to development.
