Yorgos Tsibiridis has joined Sotheby’s International Realty’s East Hampton office.

“With a distinguished career spanning more than a decade, Tsibiridis’s name is synonymous with excellence in luxury real estate, known for delivering record-setting sales across the Hamptons, including East Hampton, Sag Harbor, Bridgehampton, Montauk and beyond,” a statement from Sotheby’s reads.

Fluent in Greek, Italian, French and Spanish, Tsibiridis is a native of Greece who studied in Italy and has professional ties across several countries and an international clientele.

“Joining Sotheby’s International Realty is an incredible opportunity,” Tsibiridis said. “As a true luxury brand with global reach — and a deep connection to the art world through the Sotheby’s auction house — it’s a natural fit for me. With my international background and passion for art collecting, I’m excited to serve my clients under such a prestigious banner.”

Tsibiridis is also active in the local community and currently serves on the Sag Harbor Board of Education.

“We are thrilled to welcome Yorgos to Sotheby’s International Realty,” said Nanette Hansen, who co-leads the company’s Hamptons operations alongside Kelly Canavan. “We’ve discussed Sotheby’s International Realty and its unique value to the luxury client with Yorgos for many years, and the timing was finally right for him to join us. When several of our top agents began suggesting what a strong addition he would be, we listened. We’re excited to support his continued success.”

Hamptons Rental Market Remains Alive and Well

To paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of the demise of the Hamptons summer-rental market are greatly exaggerated. “Any hint that the Hamptons rental market is anything but robust is completely wrong,” said Corcoran associate broker Gary DePersia in East Hampton. An interesting dynamic is stirring in the Hamptons vacation-rental market. Although there has been an unprecedented rise in short-term rentals and the aftershocks of the COVID-19 pandemic linger, it has been a bumper crop year for Wall Street, interest rates have remained steady and a new breed of demanding customer is emerging. Despite it all, the Hamptons vacation-rental market remains as ... 19 Jun 2025 by Joseph Finora
