In the case of 85 Pheasant Drive in Bridgehampton, the 11,000-square-foot home went under contract before construction even began.
Listed and sold on August 5 for just shy of $10 million by Douglas Elliman’s Francis Fineo, who was also the developer, the house is now home to buyers Idamis and Joseph Regan.
“What sets 85 Pheasant Drive apart is how it lives,” Fineo said, who collaborated on the project with his wife, interior designer Leslie Norton Fineo, as he often does.
The seven-bedroom, three-story house unfolds with an open floor plan anchored by a chef’s kitchen, equipped with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, which connects to a sitting room with a fireplace and access to outdoor entertainment. French doors from the great room — with a two-story window wall — lead to the patio, a heated gunite pool, spa and pool pavilion.
“This transaction was particularly meaningful because it reflects exactly what Leslie and I love to do most: create a true family retreat in collaboration with our buyers from the ground up,” Fineo said.
