Christopher Covert, one of the top performing real estate brokers on the East End, joined Compass this month.
Mr. Covert, who brokered $50 million in real estate deals last year, comes to Compass from Saunders & Associates, where he started as a salesperson in 2013 and later become an associate broker. He had a previous career in music for film and television.
“The real estate business has been changing, and the COVID-19 outbreak has only accelerated the transformation in how we live and conduct business,” Mr. Covert said in a statement. “I feel that Compass is distinctively positioned to pivot into the future of the industry, and the future is now.”
Mr. Covert will work out of Compass’s Bridgehampton office.
