Time is running out if you want to learn about East Hampton Town’s new rental registry. The town will sponsor workshops to help prospective landlords follow the new law on Wednesday, January 27, at 1, 3, and 5 p.m.
The town has encouraged real estate agents and members of the public to attend one of the workshops. All sessions will take place in the main meeting room of Town Hall at 159 Pantigo Road in East Hampton.
Participants have been asked to make a reservation with Colleen Reynolds, the assistant to Supervisor Larry Cantwell, at creynolds@ehamptonny.gov or by calling (631) 324-4140.
During each workshop, town staff members will walk participants through the rental registry application process and answer questions.
Applications are available on the town’s website, ehamptonny.gov, and at the Building Department, located at 300 Pantigo Place.
