The seller was Barbara Rousso Trust and the new owner is Peter Worth, according to The Real Estate Report Inc., which said the deal closed September 22.
Pat Petrillo and Dawn Petrillo of Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing.
“It’s a good feeling for me to help the seller achieve all their goals,” said Pat Petrillo, who also brokered the deal 23 years ago when the seller originally purchased the property and had the estate built. She added that the purchaser loves the property as much as the seller. “Everyone was very happy,” she said.
Adam Hofer of Douglas Elliman brought the buyer to the deal.
“This was a particularly fun sale as I am very fond of the property myself, and it’s always a pleasure to be working with a buyer who has incredible vision,” Hofer said. “There was a lot of love in this home and my buyers are only the second owners. They intend to perform a meticulous renovation of the incredible home that is already there.”
