The 2022 Hampton Designer Showhouse, a reimagined 1830s Southampton home and former hunting lodge known as Ivy Lodge, has sold for $7 million.
At 120 Edge of Woods Road in the hamlet of North Sea, the property offers 7,500 square feet of living space in the main house and a new pool installed for the showhouse. Originally part of the Mayo Family Farm, the property is surrounded by a nature preserve protected by the Peconic Land Trust, according to the listing.
Victoria Meakin and David Feldman provided the house for the Hampton Designer Showhouse, an annual fundraiser for Stony Book Southampton Hospital presented by Hamptons Cottages & Gardens. Twenty designers from the East End and across the country were each assigned a different space to transform, showing off their skills and giving inspiration to visitors. The showhouse was open to the public from August to September 2022.
James Peyton, John Frangeskos and Aleksandrina Penkova of Corcoran had the listing.
Peyton said the home is on a sprawling 3-acre park-like property with a natural pond and sunset views.
“The house had been renovated 15 years ago, and although charming and gracious needed a new aura to showcase its inherent value,” he said. “We teamed up with Pamela Eldridge at HC&G and Tony Manning of the Hampton Designer Showhouse to transform the property for modern living. A resounding ‘wow!’ by all who came through; the new owners will begin making memories this summer.”
Over the last 22 years, the Hampton Designer Showhouse Foundation has raised more than $2 million for Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.
Ivy Lodge was listed for $7.2 million. The new owner is Ivy Lodge LLC and the deal closed on December 15, 2022, according to Suffolk Vision Inc.
