The architecture and engineering firm H2M was recently named one of the top in the nation, according to a recent press release from the company.
Specifically, the firm stood at 188th of the top 300 architecture firms in the nation, as ranked by the trade publication the Architectural Record, in 2015. Another trade publication, the Engineering News-Record, ranked H2M 277th of the 500 top design firms.
H2M, which is based in Melville, was hired to map and project costs for proposed new sewer systems in both Southampton Village and Westhampton Beach Village.
The press release notes that the firm has been growing rapidly to meet industry needs, adding 75 new employees in 2015 and expecting 60 to 70 new hires this year. With about 300 staff members now, H2M has offices in White Plains, New York City and Suffern, as well as Melville in New York State, and also in Parsippany and Howell in New Jersey.
