The last plot of land at Startop Ranch in Montauk, 107 Startop Drive, has sold with a last asking price of $5 million.
The 2.1-acre parcel is cut from a once 50-acre-plus horse ranch named for its late owner, Dr. Leon Star. It offers views of the Atlantic Ocean, Block Island Sound and Lake Montauk, plus a barn and riding arena overlooking a 6-acre agricultural reserve.
The buyer may also purchase a 1.5-acre access into the agricultural reserve for uses that adhere to Peconic Land Trust guidelines.
Architect Nick Martin of Martin Architects in Bridgehampton has designed a modern residence envisions to sit in harmony with the vistas and the rolling land framed by thousands of acres of permanently preserved park lands stretching to the Montauk Lighthouse.
JR Kuneth of Brown Harris Stevens represented the buyer. Ed Bruehl of Saunders had the listing.
