A like-new Modern Barn by Plum Builders recently sold for $5.25 million in East Hampton.

On 1.4 acres at 25 Quarty Circle, the 7,634-square-foot home has eight bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The double-height great room has a two-story double-sided fireplace, and the space opens onto a stone patio with a “fabulous” outdoor kitchen, heated gunite pool and outdoor shower, according to the listing.

A junior primary suite is located on the first floor, and four en suite bedrooms and a primary suite — with a sitting area and a private ipe deck —are upstairs.

Two more bedrooms and full bathrooms are found on the lower level along with a gym, recreation/media space, a bar and storage space. The three-car garage is attached with access to the mud room and first-floor laundry room.

Randi Ball, the managing director for East Hampton at The Agency, had the listing.

“This property sold rather quickly,” Ball said. “Built in 2019, the house presented as brand new construction. The original owners beautifully maintained the home and grounds and furnished simple and chic. The house was sold turnkey, which is always desirable.”

The deal closed on October 23, according to Suffolk Vision Inc., which reported that the new owner is EH25 Holdings LLC. When the property last changed hands, in 2020, the price was $3.99 million.

Hamptons Rental Market Remains Alive and Well

To paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of the demise of the Hamptons summer-rental market are greatly exaggerated. “Any hint that the Hamptons rental market is anything but robust is completely wrong,” said Corcoran associate broker Gary DePersia in East Hampton. An interesting dynamic is stirring in the Hamptons vacation-rental market. Although there has been an unprecedented rise in short-term rentals and the aftershocks of the COVID-19 pandemic linger, it has been a bumper crop year for Wall Street, interest rates have remained steady and a new breed of demanding customer is emerging. Despite it all, the Hamptons vacation-rental market remains as ... 19 Jun 2025 by Joseph Finora
