A newly built Southampton Village residence by Northport’s Schuttinger Building has sold for $11.35 million.
The address is 209 Little Plains Road, and the new owner is Hampton Monkey Business LLC, according to The Real Estate Report Inc.
On 0.87 acre, the 9,500-square-foot traditional residence equipped with solar panels has been decorated by Mabley Handler Interior Design of Water Mill.
The two-story foyer features custom woodwork with high-gloss finishes that continue throughout the house’s three levels. The main level has 11-foot ceilings and an open floor plan with a gourmet kitchen, a butler’s pantry, a formal dining room, a great room with a fireplace, and a den, also with a fireplace. The en-suite junior master and a powder room can also be found on the main level.
Besides the foyer, visitors may enter through the 2.5-car garage into the mudroom. An elevator serves all three levels.
The top level is where the master bedroom with two walk-in closets, a fireplace, and a shiplap ceiling with white oak beams is found. The last asking price was $12.25 million, which works out to a 7.3 percent discount. Susan Hovdesven and Dolly Schuttinger had the listing for Douglas Elliman. Vincent Horcasitas of Saunders & Associates brought the buyer.
The new house replaced a teardown. The former residence sold for $4.75 million in 2017 and was then razed to make way for the new construction, according to town property records.
