At 20 Forest Road, the property with 193 feet of water frontage had been seeking $10.75 million. There is an existing three-bedroom, two-bathroom home built in 1991 on the property, though the listing states that there is an approved site plan already in place for a new 9,700-square-foot traditional three-level residence with patios, decks and a waterside pool.
The property is approached past two large ponds and offers views of Shelter Island and nature reserves across open water. It also offers proximity to Sag Harbor Village.
The deal closed on May 4, according to The Real Estate Report Inc. The identity of both the seller and the buyer are shielded behind limited liability companies.
