A white modern residence in Bridgehampton built into a slope with extensive decking and terraces recently sold for $9.5 million, according to The Real Estate Report Inc., very close to its asking price.

Architect Nicholas Botta of East Hampton designed the 8,700-square-foot house with a 2,000-square-foot upper roof deck on a 2.7-acre flag lot at 96 Day Lily Lane. The eight-bedroom, 10.5-bathroom residence enjoys ocean views, especially up on the deck outfitted with a fireplace and wet bar.

The home features rough and quarter-sawn white oak flooring throughout, a Bakes & Kropp kitchen, and touch-open over-sized sliders. Among the outdoor amenities is an infinity edge heated gunite pool and spa. Not enough? There’s also a permit in place for a tennis court.

Susan Breitenbach had the listing for Corcoran. The last asking price was $10 million.

The buyer and seller were both anonymous limited liability companies. The closing date was April 2.
