The Express News Group will host “Taking the Pulse of the Hamptons Real Estate Market,” a live panel discussion with local real estate professionals, at Page at 63 Main in Sag Harbor Village on Thursday, February 15, followed by a networking event open to the entire industry.
Interest rates, the stock market and the economy more broadly are the shifting sands under the feet of the Hamptons real estate market. With rate cuts in the forecast and the stock market near all-time highs, a panel of local real estate professionals will assemble to assess the state of the market at the beginning of the year and share insights into where it’s heading in 2024.
Today’s real estate buyers and sellers are more educated than ever, with ready access to recent sales and a variety of other market data once only available to professionals, but achieving fair market value in a real estate transaction takes more than a Zestimate. In this Express Sessions event, panelists and guests will discuss why internet searches are not enough to navigate the complicated Hamptons market and how agents can become indispensable resources for their clients.
The event will run from 3 to 4:30 p.m. and admission is by invite only. Coverage of the panel discussion will appear in the February 22 issues of The Southampton Press, The East Hampton Press and The Sag Harbor Express, as well as on 27east.com.
The after-party networking event will start at 4:30 p.m. and no invitation is necessary, but guests must RSVP to Express News Group Director of Events Ellen Dioguardi at sessions@expressnewsgroup.com.
