Sotheby’s International Realty

Last week, Sotheby’s International Realty announced the completion of the sale of Topping Farm, an 18-plus-acre property in Bridgehampton that has been called one of the most coveted compounds in the Hamptons.

The property was sold in three separate sales over the course of three months. Offered at a last asking price of $35 million, the most recent piece of Topping Farm that was purchased contained more than 14 acres with two homes on site, including the original 17th-century farmhouse and a 21-stall horse barn and accessory buildings. The property features views of Wainscott Pond that extend across to the Atlantic Ocean.

The other two pieces of the sale comprised a total of 3.8 acres and were sold in April, with the last asking price of $5.95 million each or $11.9 million together. Sotheby’s agents Dana Trotter, Barbara L. Bornstein and Cindy Shea combined their efforts in listing the property with Ms. Trotter listed as the selling agent on the three sales.

Reach Ms. Trotter at 537-6000 or Dana.trotter@sothebyshomes.com.
