A Sag Harbor traditional known as Osprey House on a gated property fronting Sag Harbor Cove recently sold for $10.5 million.

The 5,000-square-foot residence built in 1985 at 62 West Water Street has five bedrooms, six bathrooms and two fireplaces, according to the listing, and the 0.6-acre property also hosts a 16-foot-by-40-foot waterside pool, a cabana with an outdoor shower, and a garage.

The house is painted white on the streetside with natural cedar shingles on the waterside and roof. The foyer staircase leads to a sun-filled second level for four en-suite bedrooms, according to the listing.

Balconies offer seating areas and elevated water views. There is an eat-in kitchen, a dining area and a covered patio for outdoor dining.

JT Thomas and Robert Stearns of Brown Harris Stevens represented the property.

“Inventory across the Hamptons continues to be historically low and waterfront homes close to village centers are rarely available,” the duo shared. “At the same time, the greatest demand is for turn-key properties. Our process with this sale included extensive work advising the sellers in preparing their home for launch, highlighting the extraordinary nature and opportunities of the property during the marketing phase and ultimately achieving amazing results.

The deal closed on May 25, according to The Real Estate Report Inc., which identified the seller as Patrick McDonough and the new owner as 8SEASI LLC.
