A Sagaponack estate overlooking 14 acres of farmland recently changed hands for $9 million, according to The Real Estate Report Inc.
At 53 Fairfield Pond Lane, the 1-acre property is host to a 7,300-square-foot traditional built in 2014 with modern interiors.
The living space with wide oak floors is spread on three levels, including the finished lower level.
The main level with a double-height entry has a gourmet eat-in kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, a formal dining room, a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a den with a gas fireplace, an office and a powder room.
The master suite upstairs has a sitting room with a gas fireplace and a balcony. Three guest suites share the upper level with the master suite.
The lower level offers two more bedrooms, two more bathrooms, a media room and laundry.
The private backyard has a built-in barbecue area with granite countertops, a 65-foot heated infinity edge saltwater pool, a pool house with reclaimed barn boards and a kitchenette, and an outdoor shower and fireplace. Also among the estate’s features are a two-car garage, an elevator and a generator.
The deal closed on September 15. The asking price had been $10 million. The listing was a co-exclusive with Sotheby’s International Realty and Compass.
The identities of both the buyer and the seller were shielded by limited liability companies.
