A modern bayfront home in Shinnecock Hills recently sold for $7.32 million after seeking $8 million.

On 2.1 acres at 12 Barrow Place, with stairs down to a sandy beach, the 4,220-square-foot residence has many large windows and glass sliders to look out on Shinnecock Bay.

The views can be enjoyed from the kitchen with a large island and bar seating as well as from the dining area and great room with a wet bar.

The master suite’s sliding glass doors are in front of a soaking tub for a spa-inspired experience, according to the Nest Seekers International listing. The home has four bedrooms and four bathrooms in all.

A stone patio surrounds a large pool and the yard has room for tennis.

Patrick and James Giugliano of Nest Seekers International had the listing.

The seller was Jolanta Fabicka Trust and the new owner is Barrow Place Partners LLC, according to The Real Estate Report Inc. The deal closed on August 17.

Jolanta Fabicka and Daniel Berlin purchased the property in 1996, according to town property records. The price then was just $1.27 million.

Berlin was the founder of Arkwin Industries Inc., an engineering and manufacturing company that produces hydraulic components for the aerospace industry. He died in 2010.
