In 2008, our building was demolished as a Superfund site. After many years of being in the permitting process, which included being on the Zoning Board of Appeals agenda 43 times, we were delighted to receive a building permit.
Less than a week later, two local attorneys, representing several entities, which, in our opinion, are destroying our village, succeeded in challenging the permit and forcing the court to stop work on our project.
Needless to say, we are devastated after ordering and paying deposits on materials and labor to build our one-story building.
What is happening to our village?
