As a former 17-year member of the Sag Harbor Board of Education, I would like to take this opportunity to lend my support to the school district’s proposed purchase of the Marsden Street property.
Knowing that the circumstances for the purchase have changed after the Community Preservation Fund withdrew support, I would expect no less of the School Board to explore all its options. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the school district and future generations.
Vote yes for the future of Sag Harbor’s children.
