April Gornik is right: Paid parking for residents in Sag Harbor is a terrible idea [“Not Welcoming,” Letters, October 17]. It’s more reason to shop online. Why make life more difficult for the residents? April took the time to protest. Most will just shop elsewhere.
Surely there is a better way to raise money in this wealthy community rather than nickel-and-diming the people who live and work here.
Thanks for being a great newspaper.
