Not A Cure

How many architects does it take to (fill in your choice)? The answer is seven.

It’s nice to have architects concerning themselves with the aesthetics of a proposed building [“Local Architects Hope To Help Guide Design Of Affordable Housing Complex In Sag Harbor,” 27east.com, July 27]. But what about congestion, area density, sewage, parking, access and quality of life for residents? None of those is addressed or cured by “authenticity or integrity.”

In my opinion, Adam Potter’s proposal is “horrendous” not only because of its looks but for its potential negative impact on the village.

P.S. Answer: At least seven.
