Robb Reid of Sag Harbor died on January 5 after being struck by a vehicle. He was 54.
He was born on April 30, 1969, to Gay W. Reid and Charles R. Reid II in Orlando, Florida, and grew up in Ocoee. After a stellar professional wakeboarding career, which includes the highest jump on record, he went on to found Global Boarding Watersports in Sag Harbor.
He is survived by his mother, Gay Reid; his stepfather, James Elder; his sisters, Jan Leigh Wedemeyer and Lisa E. Palm; as well as his uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and many cousins; as well as his life-partner Angelica Morrow and stepson Dylan.
A celebration of his life will be held at Kismet in East Hampton on January 20, at 2:22 pm.
