The Cape Advisors project to renovate the old Bulova watchcase factory continues to move forward. Folks who are able to sneak a peek through the fence will notice that the excavation for the underground parking garage is now complete, and the concrete has been poured for two of the five total sections that will make up the completed garage. Inside the building, all the basic plumbing and septic lines have been installed, while on the exterior of the building masonry crews continue the task of re-pointing existing brickwork, and replacing and/or laying new brick where needed, a project that is anticipated to be substantially completed by the end of the summer. Most recently, last week new concrete roof slabs were installed on the north and south Church Street wings of the building as well as the concrete wing on Division Street, with installations on the main structure to follow within the next 30 days.
