The Sag Harbor Booster Foundation would like to extend a special thank you to the following people:

The Sag Harbor Fire Department, Sag Harbor Village Police, the security and custodial staff at Pierson High School, Suzanne Nicoletti (chorus teacher), Sag Harbor Youth Hoop (board, coaches and players), Fran Nill, Kevin Roode (math teacher and announcer), Coach Kneeland (both of them) and Coach Fujita, the high school class advisors, and the Pierson administrators, especially Assistant Dean Brian Tardif.

On January 20, the Booster Foundation was excited to once again host Spirit Night, the first since 2020, a fun, family event at no cost to attend. Community members and families filled the gym and got to listen to the beautiful voices of Pierson Middle and High School’s chorus sing our national anthem and school song. They were energized by the varsity girls basketball team as they defeated Greenport-Southold and were introduced to the future ballers of Pierson when Sag Harbor Youth Hoop put on a halftime parade. The night wasn’t complete until the boys varsity basketball team defeated Center Moriches.

It took the hands of many to create the atmosphere on Friday night, and we appreciate each and every person who took part and volunteered their time. Apologies if anyone is left out.

The Booster Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that raises money to support and promote activities for the children of our community. We award two grants to sophomore and juniors to help offset the costs of SAT prep and college application fees. We award two scholarships to two graduating seniors. In the past, we have funded the Pierson Robotics Team, multiple sports teams, the high school chorus and most recently the science department’s trip to a New York City planetarium.

We are excited to announce that in March 2023 we will hosting our first Fun’Raiser since 2019: a fun evening of musical bingo, where “Name That Tune” collides with traditional bingo.
