SAG HARBOR VILLAGE — Sag Harbor Village Police arrested Jeffrey D. Ward, 59, of Sag Harbor on misdemeanor charges of driving under the influence of drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, namely amphetamine, Friday night. Police had initially received a report of a possible drunk driver in the area of Jermain Avenue and Division Street. The officer sent to investigate reported that he spotted Ward behind the wheel of a 2009 Honda Accord on Jermain Avenue driving east very slowly in the westbound lane.
