As the chaos of summer dwindles and kids head back to school, I want to pause and praise the hard-working team that is Lauren Mallor and Binh Douglas.
These two don’t head back to New York City at the end of the season or leave the community where they work. Between Main Prospect and Henri’s Cafe at Coopers Beach, they provide something that few restaurants offer anymore: a year-round family vibe and a food experience unrivaled by any chain or pop-up restaurant. Not to mention, great music at the beach on Sundays all summer long.
They are committed to our community and give generously to local organizations, like the PTO at Southampton Elementary School, where their two sons attend.
Thanks to Lauren and Binh, we have family-friendly options for dining local — and we are most grateful.
