A Sign Of Hope

I was wondering if you would publish an idea: That residents put at least one strand of Christmas tree lights of any color on the front of their house, or a bush, or mailbox, as a show of solidarity during these times?

I had put that in a mass neighborhood email a few days ago, and tonight I noticed that a neighbor had decked out their porch — and it was such a great feeling, especially after being self-isolated for over two weeks.

Imagine how wonderful it would be to drive down the neighborhoods and see lights twinkling at us … almost like sending a visual message to each other: “Hang in there! We can do this and we’ll do it together!”
